These hour-long wine-only classes are held Saturdays, (schedule at left,) sign in at 5:45, classes starting at 6:00 p.m., at the Silver Baron Lodge in lower Deer Valley. The topics vary each week and are selected by our professors. During each class we taste five wines, (plus one bonus blind tasting) each under $30 per bottle, studying many aspects of the wine including growing region, grape characteristics, wine labels, and vocabulary. Student participation is highly encouraged. At the end of the class, the students grade the wines and learn pricing and critics’ ratings, if any. Classes are $29 per person for what locals call, "educational happy hour!"

CHOICE Weekend Wine Series classes are exactly as described above, however, they are an elevated experience... either wines that are a bit more expensive, small food bites added, unusual teaching materials, etc. CHOICE classes are $39 per person.

A TABLE FOR 12: Wine and Food Pairing Experience (Tfor12)

These 75-minute-long, wine-and-food-pairing classes are held evenings on the third Thursday of most months, (schedule at left,) sign in at 6:15 p.m., classes starting at 6:30 p.m., at the Market at Park City, in Snow Creek Plaza at 1500 Snow Creek, Park City. The topics vary each month. During each class we taste four wines, each under $30 per bottle, and enjoy four to five foods, studying many aspects of the wine and foods including growing region, characteristics, labels, and vocabulary. Student participation is highly encouraged. Classes are $49 per person and only 12 seats are available per class. Get a seat at the table!


Join us for a three-part series - June 26, 27, and 29, 6:00-8:30 p.m. focusing on the wines and foods of three regions in Italy: Piedmont, Veneto, and Central Italy. Start with sparkling wine, and move into four small plates of food (ie: enough for dinner) prepared in the local, Italian style, which are paired with popular regional wines. Learning will go deep with handouts and slides during the experience. A blind tasting and test will be held on the last night, with prizes for successful accomplishments. All who pass the exam will receive a certificate of accomplishment. Held at the new Oil & Vinegar Junction near Smith's in Kimball Junction. Per class fee $160/person, full series is $372/person. 

FINE WINES AND LOCAL CHEESES - A Gourmet Experience in the Countryside 

You will be transported into a bygone age as you travel through beautiful farm country for about half hour from Park City to Gold Creek Farm, located in the small town of Woodland, Utah. Over the course of two hours, you will experience an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour of a globally award-winning, artisanal creamery. You move to the barns to meet some of the cows that provide the milk for Gold Creek products. The tour ends with an educational tasting of fine wines paired with Gold Creek cheeses, Creminelli meats and Red Bicycle Breads. Experience is $297 per person for private groups of 8-12 only. Kirsten Fox, an Executive Sommelier, will make your dinner or large event really memorable by creating a customized wine list based on your menu. Send her your courses and she will expertly pair wines to them. All wines will be available in Utah and you will have a wine shopping list to take to the liquor store.
